It's a Bit Early To Be Thinking About Christmas

But I love Christmas! Anyway, here's a card that I made for my mister's Mom. She loves it and says I should make more and sell them via the Broken Barn. I'm really flattered cuz I think his mom has good taste! What do you think, kids? I know it's a weird reindeer, what with the blue antlers, but it's cold out there after a long run. I reckon he's due for some hot chocolate.

PS: Here's one last picture of our tree- we took it down yesterday. Now it's out by the bird feeder so my little chickadees can have a more lux dining experience.

RushRushRush!

Our party is tonight... the wreaths aren't made, the driveway isn't plowed, the food shopping isn't done, the drink station isn't set up, and on and on. But ya know what? My mister is getting home early, Dad is coming to help and it's all gonna come together. Besides, the Christmas cactus looks lovely!
We're having Winter House to celebrate the season. It just so happens that it coincides with the Winter Solstice- 1:08 am EST, so I reckon we'll be having a bonfire in addition to slot car racing in the kitchen and a wreath-making station in the bathroom!

Look What I Found!

My dad gave me a stack of Christmas cards. Needless to say, we're keeping this one for ourselves!
PS: Those paperwhites are still available!

When You Come Over...

... this is what you see to the left of the front door. So cute it makes us seem normal- we like to stay under the radar.
"Well, can I come over?" you ask. It depends.
On a totally unrelated note, we got accused of putting heroin in our pies! Yep, they are that good.
PS: looks like Mister has been at the blue candy dish again. I keep having to buy more.

Only 11 Shopping Days Left!

It's starting to feel a little spinny, just like in the pic! Lots of wrapping, baking, decorating and a little shopping left to do. How about you kids? Are you ready for Christmas? Maybe Marlo can help...
