I call this the Melted Stovepipe

Category: Beverages
Style: American
Servings: 1

Description:
The best cure for any cold, fever, flu.

Ingredients:
• 1 small Lemon, not the supermarket "jumbo" kind
• Honey, use processed honey, not raw, it should be clear not cloudy. Use a good honey. Like clover or blueberry.
• Boiling water
• Cinnamon sticks
• Brandy, the older the better.
• Lemon slice

Directions:
1. Juice lemon, strain. No bits.
2. Put lemon juice in heavy glass, add equal amount honey. Stir to mix.
3. Add boiling water, in equal amount to lemon-honey mixture. Stir with cinnamon stick.
4. Add Brandy to taste, garnish with lemon slice or zest and a second cinnamon stick.
5. Enjoy by fire, in the peace and quiet of your home.

I bet this would be good if the slice of lemon had some cloves sticking out of it.
