Did You Know?

That lilacs produce seeds? They do. I've never tried to grow one from seed though. Has anyone out there done it? I wanna know.

I Am A Seed Junkie

At the same nursery where I got the plants in the following two posts, I stocked up on Botanical Interests seeds- they're 1/2 price this time of year. That nursery is Faddegon's, and they deserve every accolade in the book. Here's how great they are:

They also have a gift shop. One year, I couldn't find a particular Christmas ornament that they'd had in stock last time I visited. I asked about it and within seconds, four staff members were on the floor looking for it. FOUR. Customer service doesn't get any better than that. They are slightly pricier than evil big boxes and worth every penny. This place makes me feel like it's my birthday every time I go!

PS: Those seed packages are beautiful, aren't they? Way cooler than your average Burpee bear.
