The tank has a new light, and a bunch of new live plants. One of the gourami actually jumped out today. I saw it on the floor. I almost ignored it because it looked like a leaf dropped from the jade plant. Then I thought it was dead. When I picked it up, it wiggled. so I had to give it a blast of tap water to rinse off the cat hair and dust bunnies. It was a close call, but he seems ok now. Somewhere in all the excitement, another tetra disappeared. The other fish claim to know nothing about it. "Nope, there were always four."
