This is my favorite time of morning. I get up just a bit before sunrise when it's too dark to not have the lamp on. I sit and have my coffee, read, write sometimes. Then I get up to get another cup or let Barney out and realize it's gotten bright enough to turn the lamp off. So begins the day, but today is not like that. It's so dark and rainy and dreary that the lamps will probably be on all day. And it's colder than average out. Time to call the chimney sweep.
