| HAD to cut it and bring it in! |
This is hemerocallis 'Red Suspenders' aka daylily. They aren't true lilies but are called daylilies because each bloom only lasts ONE day. Usually only one or two are open at a time on each flower stalk and they bloom in successive days. This time, Red decided to go all out and give me FOUR blooms in one day! Even though I'll be out most of the day, I HAD to cut it and bring it in where I'll see it every time I pass through the living room. Sorry for the caps but this flower is just that awesome. I think we paid $7 for it a couple of years ago. Look how much this guy paid for his! He must have been shopping at Crazy Eddie's cuz that price is INSANE!!!
