Misumena vatia

Also known as the Goldenrod Crab Spider, she is like Hannibal Lecter- sucks the life out of her prey while its still living. This one waited on a white hellebore blossom for an unsuspecting honeybee. They're called goldenrod spiders because that's where they usually feed, and they're usually yellow, but they can drop the pigment and wait for prey on white flowers instead. Kudos to my mister, as usual, for the kick ass photo!
