This was a tiny, hopeless looking thing that we got via mail order this spring. Look at 'er now! Those seed pods will turn orange in the fall. I read about a lady who used to cut a tiny slit in the side of the pod and then insert fireflies. I'd love to do that but we're too far north- I think the fireflies will be long gone by then.

Chinese Lanterns
