Tom Pouce Oriental Lily

Check out the size of this bad boy! Apparently it was named after this pastry, named for Tom Thumb. My dad casually mentioned that he had some lilies in bloom that I might want to see. Does he not realize that I keep a transplant spade in my trunk? Thanks, Dad! It's super fragrant too, like the stargazers. They're both Orientals. Asian lilies bloom sooner, have no ruffles at the petal edges, tend to be taller and rarely have much in the way of fragrance. The Vermeers we have are Asian.
