We put 60 new ones in this year- 45 by the stream and 15 in the back just above the stone wall. The blooms didn't last as long as I'd hoped- too much heat maybe- but they were really stunning! Pix were taken just a little too late in the day. As you can see in the top pic, the slugs are having a banner year with all this rain. AND someone told me yesterday that this is the coolest July on record. Blech. I want more REAL summer.
