You know those pictures of incredible cottage gardens that always have an abundance of gorgeous five foot tall delphiniums? Well, I've been trying to achieve that my whole gardening life, and this is what I get- one scrawny shorty of a delph. I planted a whole fucking packet of seeds in that spot last year and got exactly ONE flower. I'm not sure but I think they're biennials. If that's the case, this plant's a goner at the end of this season. It'll never be five feet tall. And now I'll have to harvest its seeds and try AGAIN. Stupid delphs. I will make you my Bouquet of the Day someday, bitch.
