Bloomin'

The garden aint over till its over, thanks to late bloomers like these toad lilies.  Yesterday we planted six new varieties of daylilies, a Japanese painted fern, a rudbeckia trilobia, four mums and a pussy willow.  We forgot to plant the heather because it was hiding under the amaranth that's taking over the front steps.  'Twas good to be out there again.  Between all the rain and wedding stuff, it's been too long.  And there are still bulbs to plant- yay!
