The Menu

Because I was otherwise occupied, I didn't get a nice shot of the food tables before people dove in.  Hell, I didn't get a shot at all until the next day.  If any of you have a nice shot of the food tables or any other wedding pix, please do email them to us!  Anyway, the menu, as prepared almost single-handedly by the magical Miz Fannie was as follows (all finger foods/ hors d'oeuvres):
  • Sausage and peppers in Sicilian gravy with rolls
  • Pulled pork in pastry shells
  • Mushrooms stuffed with bacon, feta, etc. drizzled with faux tahini sauce
  • Bites of chicken breast- some in hickory smoked BBQ sauce and some in an amazing marmalade-ginger sauce
  • Hard cheeses and soft cheeses with crackers
  • Fruit platter
  • Veggie platter with dips
  • Relish tray with various pickles and dolma
  • Cucumbers stuffed with a sour cream/ cream cheese/ dill filling (we forgot to put the smoked salmon on top!)
  • Garlic melba toast topped with basil, mozzarella, tomatoes and balsamic vinagrette
  • Shrimp cocktail (thanks, Dad!)
Needless to say, leftovers have been awesome all week!

    There were many magical helpers that helped me pull it off. Your dad had great knife skills and is welcomed in my kitchen any time.
