The Boredoms

This is the leader of The Boredoms. He conducts anywhere from 9 to 99 drummers. Pictures link to where I stole them from. Don't bother looking up the band. There's nothing you can read, and certainly nothing you can see or hear on YouTube that will even approximate the powerful effect of this ritual of percussion. Why would you listen to 9 or 99 drummers playing in unison, nonstop for two hours? The effect is unexpected and difficult to describe. At the end, you feel purified, burned, cleansed, released, renewed, and empowered.
