This here is cimicifuga (how the hell do you pronounce that??) simplex 'Brunette', aka fairy candles. The foliage isn't much to look at, but wicked cool late season flowers. Also, there was a garage sale going on next door to the nursery. We didn't find anything good, but we
did get to see twin fawns feeding on the lady's lawn with her guinea fowl. Too cool! Apparently they're orphaned and have been hanging out at her place for weeks now. So cute, and so sucky that we didn't have the camera with us!
