Stuff to Play With

Haven't messed with this stuff in a while.  Maybe when winter comes.

Field Trip!

We went to a car show.

After I left the camera out in the rain.

The sun helped fix it.

Ah, better!

This one reminded me of my '79 Volare.  I loved that rotten car.

Oooh!  Now this would suit me, no?

I liked this one because...

...it had a model AND a drawing of itself inside.

Fake Elvis provided the entertainment.

This is the inside of his car.

Classic pimpmobile.  What a honker.

This is about when I died.

WANTWANTWANT!!!  (I am a sucker for finny cars.)

Freakin' kids these days.  No damn taste at all.

Monster and The Mister

Waiting
The Mister isn't fluent in dog and Monster's English is halting at best, so they don't always understand each other.  I am fluent in dog so I happen to know that Monster cares a great deal about the Mister.  He waits by that window every day.  When he hears Mister's car pull into the driveway he watches him walk up the path to the door and then greets him when he gets through the door.  The greeting tends to be overly loud- kind of like when people yell at foreigners thinking it might improve their understanding of the native language.

Right after that, he runs over to me and (again loudly) informs me that my Mister is home, as if I don't know that already by all the ruckus.  The Mister was surprised and I daresay a little touched when he saw this shot.

Ask the Angry Gardener

Here we go again...

Dear Angry Gardener,
How did you start composting?
Do you poo in a bucket to contribute to the compost like Ed Begley Jr does?
Does Monster?

Thanks,
Karen

Dear Karen,

If you wanna shit on your banana tree, that's your business.  Do let us know how it turns out.  We just take our vegetable and garden scraps and put them in a pile in the woods.  Once in a while we give it a turn with a pitch fork to move things along.  I'd mail you some Monster shit, but I think that's illegal and not nearly as nice as mangoes.

Sincerely,
The Angry Gardener

PS:  Thank you for another awesome banana video.

Bouquet of the Day

"July Field"
This was Bouquet of the Night on Monday.  See, my mister made this bouquet for me but he wasn't happy with how it turned out.  He wanted me to rearrange it!  Me, I was thrilled, and even more so now that the 'Kindly Light' and 'Ed Murray' daylilies have opened.  So here's another pic of it.
