Post Mortem

No one died. Winter just makes me feel dead. Out of concern for my welfare, the mister took me sledding today. It's been YEARS since I experienced winter as "fun". Today was hella fun and we didn't break any bones and Suicide Hill of Childhood Fame still reigns supreme. So cool to have the golf course and said hill all to ourselves, and the hill was pre-primed/ slickened by hoardes of previous sledders. Good bumps n jumps, good air to be had. On the way back to the car, we took turns spinning each other on our slick sleds.

After that, we swung by the park to check out Devil's Hill. It was overused and bare of snow, as usual. The ice on the pond was looking good though, so next weekend's quest might be for good skates. Or we might go to the Guggenheim. If that pans out, I say we need to start at the top- with rollerskates.

Speaking of rollerskates, I watched Boogie Nights last night while my mister was making Alpaca music. Now that's a fine film, and I don't mean because it's porn.

And oh hay, for my dog friends, there was a lovely Newf in the park :)
